The Spanish Non-Lucrative Visa is a residence permit for non-EU citizens who wish to live in Spain without engaging in any work or professional activity. Applicants must demonstrate stable passive income or sufficient savings to cover living expenses for themselves and their dependents. This visa does not grant work authorization. Holders can apply for permanent residency or Spanish nationality after meeting residency requirements. It is ideal for retirees, remote workers, or individuals with investment income.

• Non-EU citizen, aged 18 or older
• No criminal record
• No illegal stay in Spain

4. Once the visa is approved, enter Spain within its validity period.
5. Apply for the Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) within one month of arrival.
6. Renew the residence permit as required (usually valid for 1 or 2 years).
7. After meeting residency requirements, apply for long-term residence.
