The Netherlands Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) program is a work immigration pathway for highly skilled foreign nationals employed by a Recognised Sponsor. It aims to attract talent with specialized knowledge and skills. Applicants must have a job offer from a Dutch employer that is a Recognised Sponsor approved by the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). The employer handles the application on behalf of the employee. There is no specific occupation list, but the job must meet high-skilled standards, typically in fields such as technology, management, or research. Successful applicants can bring their spouse and minor children, who are free to work or study. No language test is required, but learning Dutch is recommended for integration.

5. Upon arrival in the Netherlands, register with the local municipality and collect your residence permit card within the specified timeframe.
6. Arrange accompanying family documents (if applicable).
